In this project I’ve tried to explore the relationship between the object and its user.
Each tableware ( teapot, tea cup, bowl and mug) within this collection have been designed to fit our hands while we are holding them.
Every single object is an unique piece, as they have been shaped to fit different sizes of hands and holding positions. Yet they are still able to be mass produced since the objects are made by slip casting.
The idea is to create the object in industrial method, but to have some hand-built quailty within the work at the same time, make the outcome become a bit sculptural.
