The inspiration comes from the walk in
the pavement, where I saw the moss grown from the gap of the bricks
everywhere; it reflects a sense of harmony, which the nature and human
artifact has combined together, a hidden beauty we walk passed by
every day. Through my work, I want to emphasis this harmony.

By dipping three different kinds of sponges (natural, cellulose and
loofah) into porcelain slip, I could adept the natural form and
texture into ceramic material, furthermore to join them with
artificial form (porcelain cup and saucer) to provide a vivid quality
within the object. Create a feeling that there is something growing
inside them.
